<p>Pastor James continues our sermon series in Mark&apos;s gospel, looking at Mark 10:17-31.<br/><br/>Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. <em>Galatians 6:6</em></p><p><b>Why is the love of money so dangerous?</b></p><ol><li>Money provides a feeding ground for many sinful attitudes and heart postures.</li><li>Money moves us away from contentment, not toward contentment.</li><li>Money makes us comfortable in this world, which is not our home.</li><li>Money perpetuates the lie that we are self-reliant and independent.</li></ol><p><br/></p><p>We should examine the relationship between what we spend and what we treasure.</p><p>We should invest our treasure in things that last eternally.</p><p>We must fix our eyes on our True and Better Rich Young Ruler.</p><p>For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. <em>2 Corinthians 8:9</em></p><p>Life Church exists to glorify God by making disciples who <b>treasure Christ, grow together</b>, and <b>live on mission</b>.
