<p>Wisdom and Wealth</p><p>Wealth with no Sorrow (Proverbs 15:16-17; 10:22)</p><p>Many seek treasure and desire to acquire wealth. However, there is wealth that one must avoid. It is the type that brings trouble, turmoil, sorrow, and grief. Furthermore, it is a type that makes you lose track of what is the most important. Yet there is a type of wealth that is not earthly but divine, for the Lord is the treasure above all. The wisdom calls to those who neglect wisdom, the naïve, and the foolish. What does wisdom shout? It calls us to fear God, which is the beginning of wisdom. And through it, we see a different lens compared to the world. It is a lens that tells us that not all treasure is good and not all lavishness should be desired.
