If you grew up in a black family you probably heard the phrase. You have to work twice as hard and be twice as good. Basically saying for us to attain success we have to work 2 times as hard and be 2 times better than our white counterparts. And even though I grew up on this thought process I saw how it could be a detriment to my business. Let me tell you how.
