It is not the "one" who still loves this present evil world. It is not the "one" who confesses Christ, but never turns from sin - who has never put on the "new man!" It is not the "one" who consistently takes God's grace as a license to sin! I'm not talking about the "one" who takes God's authority as a joke! I'm not talking about the hypocritical backslidden "Christian" who believes in the false doctrine of once saved/always saved. Who believe they can live their lives any kind of way, and still get to go to Heaven anyway! I'm not talking about the "one" who believes they are in right standing with the Father and have fellowship with Jesus, all the while, they do not follow any of His commands! For they are greatly deceived when they say, "I know God," but then don't obey God! No, I'm talking about THOSE who have sincerely repented of their sins. Who fully understands what Christ has done for THEM at the cross. I'm talking about the one who lives as Titus 2:11-14 describes. That's the one I'm talking about who will not face God's wrath, but actually have eternal life! So today, we are going to be looking at the book of Romans, namely chapter 5 and chapter 6! It is to my great delight and pleasure that I get to teach these two chapters today! ๐ฏ Romans 5 begins by describing some of the benefits that come with being declared righteous by God because of our faith in Christ. We have peace with God, and we stand in His grace. We rejoice both in the hope of God's glory and in our temporary suffering. We have hope that will not disappoint, because God has already proved His love for us.
