Most of this is a result of weak links in the food supply chain, but we <a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/lanabandoim/2020/01/26/the-shocking-amount-of-food-us-households-waste-every-year/?sh=4022d1d7dc8e" rel="nofollow">throw away a lot of food at home</a> too. Some say that folks who eat a plant-heavy diet produce more food waste.
