Description

Today and tomorrow west and south westerly flow will lead to above normal temps in the low to mid 50’s, while a trough develops to the west and a ridge to the east. Overnight and morning lows will be in the mid 20’s. Wednesday a low-pressure develops in the trough over the central Rockies and moves through the area overnight to northern Missouri Thursday morning. This will bring a shot of cold air, gusty north winds, and some light snow north of I-70. Wednesday’s highs will be early in the low 30’s and Thursdays fall into the low 20’s with lows in the single digits and wind chill readings 10-20 below Thursday morning. Friday high-pressure and ridging redevelop with warmer temps.
