Description

Today upper-level ridging over the Rockies and northwesterly flow will lead to warmer more seasonal daytime temps in the mid-60’s and warmer lows in the mid-30’s. Tomorrow a quick moving trough and cold front will glance the area from the north and cool temps slightly into the upper 50’s and low 60’s. Over the weekend the ridge amplifies out west and shifts eastward over the area Monday ahead of a trough and low-pressure digging into Arizona. This will lead to warming temps into the 70’s and 80’s on Monday for highs and lows in the upper 30’s and 40’s with winds turning to the south and southwest direction. Tuesday the trough trails a cold front over the area and the low-pressure moves to the Texas Panhandle region, increasing clouds and chances for rain showers late in the day and overnight.
