Description

TODAY starts with some morning fog along and east of a McCook to Hill City line, while clearing skies and southwest winds to the west warm afternoon temperatures into the upper 60’s to around 70. Tomorrow, a weak disturbance moves through briefly turning winds to the NW for an afternoon, but remain dry, sunny and warm with highs in the lower 70’s and lows stay above freezing. Over the weekend it remains mild and dry with the upper-level ridge directly over the region putting highs to near record in the 70-80-degree range. Therefore, we will see an unseasonably warm weekend after the cold start to November, and farmers can get fall harvest wrapped up, as it looks to stay dry at least through Tuesday next week, with only a bit of a cool down back into the 60’s.
