Warm & Dry Today; Colder & Windy Fri/Sat Remains Dry; Up & Down Temps Dryness Continues Sun-Fri

<p style="text-align:left;">Today de-amplifying ridge of high-pressure and west to northwesterly flow warms temperatures into low 60’s, while a trough approaches from the northwest and the dryness and moderate to severe drought continues.  Tomorrow the upper-level trough and cold front blows through with gusty north-northwest winds and temps drop into the 40’s for highs and teens.  Winds could gust over 50 mph, thus blowing dust and fire danger condition may become a concern.   Saturday will be colder as system moves southeast and away from the area and sunshine returns.  Sunday and Monday upper-level ridging and northwest flow returns rebounding temps back into the upper 40’s and 50’s.        </p>
