VOX Media Cafe 2022: African-American Discrimination In the Workplace

African Americans face discrimination in the work industry and one of the main reasons is harmful stereotypes. As a result of these stereotypes, African Americans are viewed as unqualified or unworthy for particular jobs and get paid less. There is a large pay gap between black and white people. Here, VMCer Kayla interviews two African American workers who faced unfair treatment while working or looking for a job. Some black, Atlanta teens will be able to relate to this issue and others can be effected by it in the future.
