VOP 2022: March 21, 2022 Integrity impacts Posterity “Word-proof” We must stand on the Word of God and stay focused on Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. Nuggets of Integrity. 1. Integrity goes beyond speaking the Word, but more of living by the Word, whereby God and man can trust us openly and in secret. Joseph lived a life of integrity and his life impacted his household and generations, even the present and the future (Posterity). 2. We must not fluctuate with the times and seasons or circumstances we are faced with. Abraham also was trusted by God to teach his Children in the way of God, leading them by example not by mere words. 3. Integrity means waking in holiness, deciding the crucify the flesh and its evil desires and allowing the Word of God to be your guide or reference point. Joseph declared with his mouth, that he did not want to sin against God. 3. Your love for God and fear of God helps you to live a life of Integrity and holiness. Posterity will benefit from the things we do to the praise and glory of God. It may not be convenient for us, but the fear of God which is wisdom must compel us like Joseph to obey God’s command. Joseph was more concerned about obedience of God than satisfaction of man which would have meant him sowing to the flesh. He chose to sow in righteousness and holiness. This act of integrity secured his position spiritually and physically and he was eventually elevated and promoted to the palace. 4. Integrity will cause you to flourish all round.
