VOP 2022: January 3, 2022 - Good use of time “Borrowed time”

Good use of time “Borrowed Time” The fact that time is not ours cannot be over emphasized. We are all living on borrowed time which is temporarily ours pending when we will be required to give account of how it is spent. Therefore, we must spend the time we are given very wisely by seeking the counsel of God, The Holy Spirit. Our spiritual antenna must be sharp to discern the mind of God per time. Maintaining a closer walk or fellowship with the Holy Spirit will ensure that Heaven’s agenda is our priority or preference. When we utilize the borrowed time to do God’s will, He will ensure that our own agenda and good desires are attended to and granted. “But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’” Matthew‬ ‭25:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.” ‭‭James‬ ‭5:7-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.
