VOP 2022: April 9, 2022 Complete in Christ “No double or multiple Identity” The only true and real identity that will take us successfully through life’s journey till eternity is “Christ Identity” It is very important and wise to state our identity in Christ early in life from Childhood. Destinies are sometimes exchanged early, but can also be restored back by the mercies of God through fervent prayers. In 1Kings 3, a Woman exchanged her dead baby with the living baby of her neighbour. It took God’s divine intervention to save and secure the destiny of the young baby who was stolen. 1 Kings 3:16-28. Double Identity is the display of two opposite characters by an individual. One is Godly or Christ-like (Light) and the other is ungodly and demonic (Darkness). This is very obvious in the character traits and fluctuating behavioural patterns, whereby one moment the person is acting or behaving well and the next moment the person’s character or behaviour changes. This is very common in growing Children. Therefore we must watch and pray fervently to reclaim the glorious destinies of Children. Often times, it is not a conscious action, but rather there are contending forces which must be arrested prayerfully. Spiritual warfare is the way out of such bondage. There are many false idols or deities that are targeted at spoiling or destroying glorious destinies. These unseen or spiritual forces contend with anyone that God Has ordained for a special purpose. We must be wise to discern their tricks and subtle agenda to mislead or misguide their target to stray away from God’s ordained path of life. One of the ways people get exposed to such traps are through unhealthy or ungodly relationships or association. Also other ways of being exposed to double identity is watching ungodly movies or social media, which are points of entry of evil spirit.
