VOP 2022: April 8, 2022 Divine Branding “Tear off or replace the Label” We are created in the image of Christ, fearfully and wonderfully made to show forth the praise and glory of God. We are too branded to be stranded, carrying on our body the marks of Christ. Do not allow any force or evil powers to intimidate you like the Goliaths, Pharaohs, Haamans and Herods or Nebuchadnezers. Ensure that you are wearing the right label or identity of Christ. Life’s situations can sometimes make labels to be worn on us, either consciously or unconsciously. This is often through the confessions made by us or the words spoken to us by men to qualify or disqualify us. Since we were not created with such labels, God expects us to tear them off and wear the new label or Identity of Christ. The onus is on us to be intentional about wearing the new label or Identity of Christ, not been ashamed but boldly declaring our position in Christ. The name of Jesus is above any name or label that you may be wearing. Nugget: It is your responsibility to take off any label that is unpleasant and replace it with an new label or brand. No man can do it as well as you. It is your choice to make. Jabez realized it and cried out to God for mercy.
