VOP 2022: April 5, 2022 Grace abounds under Cover “Spiritual Umbrella” The next important thing to secure after the salvation of our soul is to ensure that we stay protected and preserved by staying under spiritual cover. Salvation comes with a very rich package or benefit. However, we must do the needful to partake of the blessings and above all to fulfill our God-given purpose or mandate. The best scenario we can compare spiritual coverage with s staying under the shade or protection of the “Umbrella” when there is a heavy down pour of rain. Only those who hide under the “Umbrella” are shielded from the rain or getting their body wet or soaked. Also, Noah found grace in the sight of God and this made himself and all related or associated with him to be protected and preserved from the destruction of the flood that God sent to the earth due to the unrighteousness of Man. Nuggets/“Do nots” 1. Do not leave spiritual cover. Do all you can to stay under cover (Fellowship) 2. Do not let offence move you from the place of defence.
