VOP 2021: September 7, 2021 - Power to stand

VOP 2021: September 7, 2021 Power to stand for God. We saw the demonstration of the power of God and the ability to stand strong in the midst of obstacles and challenges in the lives of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. As a result of the excellent Spirit they possessed in their time, they were bold enough to say Yes to God and No to the wiles and deception of the devil. Even till this day, the same excellence can be exhibited when we yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit, which is our power source. “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”” ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭3:16-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
