VOP 2021: October 8, 2021 Beautiful Garment: We always desire to change our garment or raiment to feel fresh and joyful. Our beauty is perfected through our intimacy with God (The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit). The outward appearance or circumstances can be deceptive as it does not portray the reality of our personality. The fact that we dress in a certain way does not make us who we say we are but our inner beauty is more real and relevant to God. Let us always pray to God to beautify us from inside and thereafter His glory will be made manifest on the outside. After we have been tested, tried and true our garment becomes beautiful and we shine as Gold. “Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭52:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,” I Peter‬ ‭1:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.
