VOP 2021: October 16, 2021 Superior Standard: Generally life is governed by set standards, either humanly set, also referred to as World’s standard or God’s standard, supernaturally set. It is wise to rely or lean on supernatural standards based on the Word rather than Man’s standard or worldly standard. Man’s standard is inferior to God’s standard, hence we are forewarned not to lean on our own understanding, but to acknowledge God in all our ways and He will direct our path. God’s standard is forever “Superior” While God’s standard or ways are guaranteed, Man’s standard or ways cannot be guaranteed, but flexible and fluctuates. Therefore our trust must totally be in God’s standard which remains reliable and flawless. “So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah‬ ‭59:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
