VOP 2021: November 11, 2021 - Walk comes before Work

VOP 2021: November 11, 2021 “Walk comes before Work” We often overrate work either spiritually (God) or naturally (Man) and underrate our walk with God or men. Interestingly, our walk or relationship determines the effectiveness of our work or assignment. If our walk is healthy and right with God and men in terms of our fellowship and relationship, we are then fit for the Master’s Use and enhances productivity. A godly or harmonious relationship attract new mercies and trust. God desires a good relationship with Man. It started from the beginning of times (Genesis) when He put Man (Adam and Eve) in the garden to dress and keep it (Work) but more importantly He wanted to use it as an avenue of having a beautiful fellowship with them. Since man lost it at the garden of Eden, He gave us another chance by sending His only begotten Jesus Christ to restore the fellowship back. We see the testimony of fellowship in the lives of some people like Zacharias, burning incense in the temple, Hannah visited Shiloh regularly and they both received their desired blessing. Prayer: Father, please help me to build a healthy walk (relationship) with you so that the work (assignment) will be easy, because your burden is light and your yoke is easy. “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Matthew‬ ‭11:29‬ ‭KJV‬‬.
