VOP 2021: December 23, 2021 Focus and finish strong “Spiritual mirror” Keeping our eyes focused on Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith will guarantee our safe arrival at our expected destination in strength and victory. We must be intentional about staying focused even in the midst of distractions which may be inevitable. Life circumstances and challenges may be overwhelming, and may weigh us down, but we must drop every excess weight of anxieties, fears and discouragement, adjusting our spiritual mirrors such as front, rear, side and blind spots. You must let go of the past (rear mirror) focus on the present and move forward (front mirror) and watch carefully your side or (blind spots). Stand strong and let your confidence remain in the knowledge of the truth in the Word which assures us that, we are more than conquerors and we overcame by the Blood of the Lamb and by the Word of our testimony. “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world.
