VOP 2021: December 18, 2021 Exit “Messy Gate” and Enter “Mercy Gate” The two signs that show us the way IN or OUT of any building are “EXIT” and “ENTRANCE” In like manner, our Spirit, Soul and Body must allow some things out or in, based on the conditions or circumstances we are faced with. Our Spirit must only grant entrance to “The Word of Life” which keeps it clean and pure as God desires. Our soul or mind must only allow Godly thoughts (Word) to nourish it and refuse to let the evil suggestions (World) to diminish or destroy it. Thirdly and most importantly, our body being the temple of God must deny access to sin and flee every fleshly lusts. In conclusion, when we intentionally guard our hearts diligently and allow every mess to exit, we are then ushered into the presence of God and the “Mercy Gate” is flung wide open for us to enter in freely into The Throne of Grace where we can obtain favour and unlimited blessings. The Blood of Jesus Christ is the spiritual ID card that guarantees us access to the Holiest of Holies into the presence of God. “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrews‬ ‭10:19-22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.
