VOP 2021: August 25, 2021 Subduing Power: God Has give us all power and authority to subdue every opposing force, contending against them and prevailing over our adversaries. We have been empowered and equipped to overrule the evil counsel of the wicked and establishing God’s divine counsel. A good example is Mordecai and Esther, subduing Haaman’s evil plot. The King Ahaseurus woke up one day and chose to open the book of remembrance, and Mordecai was favoured and restored to a life of joy and peace. “See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.”” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.
