VINCENT CHIN Remembered (6-25-21)

<p>In 1982, in a suburb of Detroit, after a dispute with two white autoworkers who had experienced job losses due to Japanese imported cars, <b>Vincent Chin</b>, a man of Chinese descent, ended up being beaten with a baseball bat, had his skull cracked open, and died a few years later.</p> <p>The penalty for the crime? A $3,000 fine and $780 in court costs for each of the two white men ..... and NO jail/prison time EVER!</p> <p>How was this allowed to happen? Irrespective of it being before the days of "Hate Crimes", <b>Vincent Chin</b> was murdered, NO jail/prison for the killers?</p> <p>As unreal as this sounds, it is all quite true, and Paul addressed it on today's show.</p>
