Verena Tarpey Speaking On Morning Focus About Work LIfe Balance Act

Rape Crisis Midwest is welcoming the introduction of the Work Life Balance and Miscellaneous Provisions Bill 2022. The Bill provides for the introduction of new rights for employees to support a better balance of family life, work life and caring responsibilities. It also seeks to support those who are victims of domestic violence through the introduction of a statutory paid leave entitlement of five days. Rape Crisis Midwest spokesperson, Verena Tarpey, says it will give time to those experiencing domestic violence to work toward getting help.
