The Biden administration is considering using federal regulatory powers and the threat of withholding federal funds from institutions to push more Americans to get vaccinated. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, has also urged all students, teachers and staff to wear masks when the school year begins regardless of vaccine status.
