<p>Michigan State was riding a wave of momentum coming off a win over rival Michigan last weekend, but the Spartans are now in regroup mode coming off a 40-29 loss at Purdue. After tying the game, 21-21, in the third quarter, the Spartans stalled out on offense, and couldn’t get off the field on defense against a Purdue team that passed for a season high.
