Update on Lead Extraction

Lead extraction requires the knowledge of three key factors that contribute to the success of this procedure. Number one is lead preparation, understanding the lead properties; second is controlled sheath advancement prior to counter traction; and last, prepare for rescue. This talk was presented at the Cleveland Clinic’s 2019 Gobal EP Summit. We look forward to Global EP Summit 2020 in September.
