<p>In today's episode we are joined by fantasy author JW Webb, chatting about his books set in the world of Anzu. Jim grew up close to London but it wasn't until he moved out to Cornwall when his first book came to life. He believes there is a great sense of the Celtic vibe living in that area of the UK. It was during this time he also reached out to an illustrator who, at the time, had worked with J.R.R. Tolkien as an illustrator. Unfortunately, tragedy hit JW's life when his wife passed away. In a wonderful turn of events, he reconnected with someone he had met in his youth while sailing around Australia. That new relationship led him to relocating to the United States in 2012. He is now putting the finishing touches on his 12th book in the ever-growing list of books set in the world of Anzu.</p> <p><strong>Movies/Streaming:</strong><br /> Walt is working his way through <strong>Futurama</strong> and began watching <strong>Lower Decks</strong>, the animated series set in the Star Trek universe. JW recommended <strong>Picard</strong>, <strong>Ozark</strong>, <strong>Yellowstone</strong>, <strong>Longmire</strong>, and <strong>The Bodyguard</strong>. Alan is wrapping up season 4 of <strong>The Next Generation</strong> and season 4 of <strong>Bosch</strong>. Alan also highly recommends the Netflix film, <strong>Extraction</strong>, starring Chris Hemsworth.</p> <p><strong>Reading:</strong><br /> Walt is still working his way through, "<em>Praying for Sheetrock</em>," and just finished reading, "<em>Waiting for the Punch</em>." JW just finished reading, "<em>The Real History of the SAS</em>." Alan recommends, "<em>The Making of Tombstone</em>," for anyone who considers themselves a fan of the movie.</p> <p><strong>Listening to/Podcasts:</strong><br /> Walt grabs his fresh supply of gummies and has been listening to <strong>The Grateful Dead</strong> from 1972.
