TUS President Confident Coonagh Enigeering Campus Will Become National Centre Of Excellence

The President of TUS is confident the construction of a new state of the art facility on the Clare/Limerick border will bear the standard for the future of engineering in the country. It comes as Monami Construction & The Technological University of the Shannon have officially put pen to paper on contracts to finalise the completion of the Coonagh Engineering Campus. The €24 million development is expected to open its doors in January and will provide laboratories, research and learning facilities for up to 900 students and apprentices. TUS President, Vincent Cunnane believes the new Campus will set the example for technical third level institutions nationwide.
