Transgender Talk

<p>Y’all. Y’ALLLLLL. I HAVE WANTED TO THIS PODCAST FOR A &nbsp;WHILE NOW!!!!! Thanks to my amazing pal I got hooked up with Dane Menkin, he answers all of my (and probably your) questions about the &nbsp;whole transgender process as it refers to kids. There are so many &nbsp;misconceptions about the whole process. We, well he, clears it up. I &nbsp;love this talk so much. It was so much fun and I thought I knew a lot &nbsp;and I learned stuff too. Everyone needs to listen to this. With &nbsp;education we can save these children from depression and death by &nbsp;suicide or thoughts of suicide. It will be up tomorrow!!!! I’m so &nbsp;excited you can totally hear me freaking out on the podcast, haha.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Dane is the divisional director of LGBTQ services at Main Line Health where he provides LGBTQ specific clinical care with a focus on gender-affirming-care for children, adolescents and adults. Dane’s role allows for access to a large healthcare system in the region to focus on an LGBTQ-competency-curriculum implementation and workforce education. &nbsp;Dane is the recipient of the AANP Award for Excellence for PA in 2019. He is a member of WPATH and served on the Board of Directors for The Jim Collins Foundation as well as serving as a consultant for TransLine.
