Transfer: Sarri blocks Lazio from signing Manchester United star

<p>Lazio president, Claudio Lotito has revealed that head coach Maurizio Sarri vetoed a deal for Manchester United midfielder Fred.</p>, <p>Fred is expected to leave Man United this summer and Lazio expressed interest in bringing the Brazilian to Italy.</p>, <p>But Sarri, a former Chelsea manager, blocked the deal.</p>, <p>“I was prepared to open talks with Manchester United and bid for Fred, but Maurizio Sarri told me no – he does not want Fred,” Lotito told Messaggero.</p>, <p>He added, “He did the same with Giovani Lo Celso… Sarri wants Piotr Zielinski and Samuele Ricci.”</p>, <p>Fred joined Man United from Shakhtar Donetsk back in 2018 and the Premier League giants are reportedly keen to sell him this summer transfer window.</p>
