Transfer: Maja completes West Brom switch

<p>Sky Bet Championship club West Bromwich Albion have confirmed the signing of Nigeria forward Josh Maja.</p>, <p>Maja signed a three-year contract at the Hawthorns.</p>, <p>The 24-year-old linked up with the Baggies on a free transfer after severing ties with Ligue 1 club Girondis Bordeaux at the end of last season.</p>, <p>The striker had previously played in England for Sunderland, Fulham, and Stoke City.</p>, <p>Head coach Carlos Corberan was happy with Maja’s arrival at the club.</p>, <p>“I am happy to have Josh here at the club. It was an important aim of ours to reinforce this position during the summer. We have done so with a player who has a big desire to succeed.</p>, <p>“Josh has international and Premier League experience and his skills complement Brandon Thomas-Asante in a way which means they can play together or on their own. He drops deep to build attacks and also has good instincts in the box,” he said.</p>
