Transfer: Chelsea set to terminate Aubameyang’s contract

<p>Chelsea are set to terminate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contract to enable him sign for Marseille as a free agent, ESPN reports.</p>, <p>Aubameyang has verbally agreed terms on a three-year deal to join the Ligue 1 side.</p>, <p>The 34-year-old striker only moved to Chelsea from Barcelona in September 2022, but struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge, scoring just three goals.</p>, <p>Aubameyang’s move to France will mark his return to Ligue 1 after 10 years, following his spell at Saint-Etienne between 2011 and 2013.</p>, <p>Chelsea have undergone a huge squad upheaval this summer following the arrival of manager Mauricio Pochettino.</p>, <p>Pochettino is also expecting Romelu Lukaku to seal a move away from the club.</p>
