Such is the case with Tom Rettig, educator, mentor and legendary girls basketball coach at Tippecanoe High School.<br /> <br /> In this conversation we talk about the 1985-86 Lady Red Devils who finished with a (24-3) record and a magical run to the State Finals. Tom talks about the details of how the team came together despite, in his opinion, not necessarily liking one another all the time, dealing with off-the court rumors of trips to The Bug Inn or Lost C Lounge. An 18-game winning streak propelled the team to the State Final Four match-up against powerhouse Akron Hobin and then the Championship game against Millersburg West Holmes--a team with a 100+ game winning streak at the time.<br /> <br /> Join us and give us a listen.
