Tom Rettig: This is not a dress rehearsal Ep 3

<p>Everyone has a story, it's just that some are more interesting than others. Such is the case with Tom Rettig, Educator, Coach and friend. We add to the title in this episode with: Girl Dad.<br /> <br /> As we progress in our time line, Tom has arrived at Tippecanoe in 1979 as an English teacher and Boys Basketball assistant as well as assistant football and baseball coach. An eagerness to move back to SW Ohio had led him to the job and in 1982 a unique opportunity. <br /> <br /> As former coach Jane Tollefson was pregnant, Tom makes the choice to coach the Tippecanoe Girls basketball program. One lure: being able to coach his daughters for a few years. <br /> <br /> Join us as we discuss this period of time early on with the Red Devils program and also speak upon some other topics of the day and hear more great stories from a 50+ year coaching career. </p>
