Tom Peters (https://soundcloud.com/tompetersworld) United We Rise Podcast Nr. 087 🗯🗯 Could you take us through a day in your life, from a possible morning routine through to your work? 🗯🗯 A typical friday starts around 8:30am with 30min yoga/mediation after that I have green tea and large bowl of oatmeal with fruits, nuts and spices as I am not a coffee person. Then I start updating the Beatport Store for the genres I oversea which are Melodic House & Techno, Indie Dance, Dark Disco, Organic/Downtempo. From midday onwards I usually listening to over 150 releases for the Beatport store placement for the upcoming week. In the late afternoon I have a team meeting and in the evening, I go to the gym and my partner and I go to our fav plant base burger place called Lias Kitchen. 🗯🗯 How did you prepare this mix and what was your main inspiration? 🗯🗯 I am constantly listening to new music while curating the Beatport store and in the end of each month I buy the tracks I like and combine them with all the promos I received that month. I went through all the music from the last few months. The inspiration for the podcast was that energy one feels at an opening set. Imagine it’s the beginning of the day at a smaller intimate German festival. 🗯🗯 What’s your favorite club and what’s your favorite festival - explain why! 🗯🗯 I have been organising the DESSERT Event at ://about blank since 2012. ://about blank is a space for me to meet open minded people and who share a love for music that spans from disco to house and deeper trippier techno.
