It was amended through Jesus' sacrifice, on our behalf, on the cross. His vicarious atonement reconciled us back to the Father because it was sinful man that damaged their relationship with their holy God! Someone had to pay the price for sin, and we could have NOT have paid that price! Nothing we could have done would have appeased God's wrath on us! We were sinful and rebellious! We racked up and stacked up the charges that were rightly leveled against us, because we didn't know how to stop sinning 🥺! But glory be to God, Jesus stepped in as the Mediator, between God and man, and laid down His life for His friends! No greater love hath a man, who lay down his life for his friends 😔! Jesus' vicarious atonement is the idea that He took the place of mankind on the cross; suffering the penalty for sin.
