After forming as a group in Atlanta in the early 90s under the tutelage of writer and producer <strong>Dallas Austin</strong>, TLC burst on to the scene as a combination of R&amp;B and rap, similar to their contemporaries of Bell Biv Devoe. With three big singles, the group made up of <strong>T-Boz</strong>, <strong>Left Eye</strong> and <strong>Chili</strong> quickly found commercial and critical success.
