Tipp's 1st Toy Library

A toy library has been set up in Clonmel! The novel project operates once a month and how it works is that people bring in any old but unbroken toys they have, and people can take them home and return them a month later. It means that children will have a new supply of toys every month, hopefully cutting down on the use of plastic. It’s the brainchild of Louise Lawlor, an environmentalist with Suircan and Jenny Brewer from Zero Waste Clonmel. Our reporter Alison Hyland went to speak to them to find out more.
