Description

Thanks so much for dropping by the Three Things podcast. Each week from my basement hideout in west Edmonton, I put together an unremarkable list of the three things I noticed I noticed that left behind some happiness or gratitude. It’s a way to keep noticing those things. Kinda circular.

This week’s list:

1. Sounding familiar - Hear ye, hear ye! The Edmonton Folk Music Festival is back. The sounds of the professionals were, as always, wonderful. But there were other welcome notes, too.

2. Segments – I am still trying to piece together where my thoughts went at a construction site. .

3. Whales – After a few days in the sun at the Folk Fest, you start seeing things!

The music in the podcast is original. It comes from the composing heart and mind and the piano-playing hands of Brendan McGrath. The end bells are courtesy Edmonton metal sculptor and humanitarian Slavo Cech.

I’m at glenn.kubish@gmail.com

Boom.
