Description

A more active weather pattern that has begun June looks to continue much of this week with and upper-level ridging returning warmer and drier conditions Friday and over the weekend. Today and tomorrow frontal boundaries and late day disturbances in northwesterly flow will be the trigger mechanisms for late afternoon and evening severe t-storm development. Highs will be in the 80’s and lows in the 50’s. Wednesday high-pressure over eastern SD and NE works some cooler slightly drier air into the area. Thursday warm air returns with a round of late day storm activity before drier weather on Friday. Wednesday temps drop into the 70’s then return to the 80’s and Thursday and Friday.
