Hawaii on Wednesday reported 472 new COVID-19 cases and two additional fatalities on Wednesday. The two new deaths included an Oahu woman in her 40s and an Oahu woman in her 80s. Both were hospitalized and had underlying conditions, the state said. The death toll now stands at 545. The state said Wednesday’s new cases were a partial count due to an interruption with the electronic laboratory reporting system. Therefore, any delayed test results will be included in Thursday’s and Friday’s case counts.
