Zucker claimed the decision was due to him failing to disclose his "consensual relationship" with CNN's Chief of Marketing, Allison Gollust.<br /><br />Zucker is recently divorced, but the affair with Gollust is rumored to go back several years.<br /><br />Nobody believes that excuse. The New York Post is reporting that Zucker was forced out by CNN's new parent company, AT&T because recently fired host Andrew Cuomo's lawyers were complaining that the company was selectively enforcing its conduct policies. And the lawyers specifically pointed to Zucker's relationship, which was apparently an open secret. So AT&T forced Zucker out.<br /><br />As Zucker’s time comes to an end, ratings were down 90% in January from the same time last year<br /><br />January 2021: CNN averaged nearly 2.7 million viewers<br />January 2022: CNN averaged 548,000 viewers<br /><br />The CNN cesspool: Over the past year, the network has had several major sexual scandals, aside from this new one with Zucker:<br /><br />A producer on Chris Cuomo's show went to jail for being a pedophile.<br /><br />A second producer on Jake Tapper's show is under criminal investigation for crimes involving "potential juvenile victims".<br /><br />Chris Cuomo's former boss alleges he sexually assaulted her<br />Don Lemon was accused of molesting another man in a bathroom three years ago<br />Jeffrey Toobin masturbated on camera during a Zoom call and is still employed at the company<br /><br />Trump weighed in on Zucker's departure, saying: “Jeff Zucker, a world-class sleazebag who has headed ratings and real-ne
