An ascetic says to a man, You are more self denying than I, I have no interest in the world and you have no interest in the hereafter. Hence, which one of us is self denying ? Good deeds remove stress. Failing to do good deeds leads to grief & worries. Detachment from the world rests the body & heart. Attachment to the world causes worries & stress. Idleness hardens the heart.
