The work of defining mental disorders

Psychiatrists rely on a book called the “Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders'' to define and classify numerous conditions with the goal of improving diagnoses, treatments and research. We talk to a couple of psychiatrists about how recent revisions to the book were made and why.
