The Vacay that Saved my Life

<p>In 1992, I was a year into a job I loved, but I was beginning to burn out. Overwhelmed, I handed in my resignation, but my manager insisted that I go on a vacation and postpone my decision until after my return. That vacation changed my life.</p> <p>Today, I talk about what I learned from my experience with this supportive and empowering manager. I share his wise words on the power of planning your work around your leave instead of the other way around.
