The concept of being chosen stems from the fact that God had an assignment to execute on earth and he needs you and I to execute the assignment. There is an assignment that God has preplanned for us to carry out (Ephesians 2:10). For instance, Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:5). One can be chosen for a generation as seen in the book of Judges 2:7-10, 14 - 16. The only way that the plans of the devil will succeed is if there is no chosen one in a generation. God is still looking for a man to stand up for their generation (Ezekiel 22:30-31). Our assignment is to make Christ known to the world!
