In Mark 1:21-32, Mark tells us a series of stories that help us answer two questions: How did Jesus become so well known so quickly? And why did the religious establishment reject him? The answer is that Jesus has an unexplainable authority. One that creates amazement for some, but for the members of the religious establishment it creates jealousy.
