Description

An old English Proverb states that: “Necessity is the Mother of Invention”

Let us make our way, my elvish friends, across the emerald landscapes of the Shire. The term shire was first attributed to the counties in central and southern England which were housed under the authority of the “shire reeve,” or Sheriff.

We shall take a rolling jaunt over the hills and through the winding creeks and pine, chestnut, oak, ash and beech trees.

Khalil Gabran said;

Let there be spaces in your togetherness, and let the winds of the heavens dance between you.

Love one another, but make not a bond of love; let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.

Spring has begun!

“Blow the horn and Sound out the Tin whistles brightly, beat the Bodhran (Bore Un) drums

For, Darkness is receding,

As we pull the curtains of light in greeting!” – Molly

This week if you have a camera phone or a digital camera and you head out toward nature; here is a Photography assignment to practice presence and walking with mindful breathing:

As an inventor of sight, can you photograph nature from a unique perspective, aside from the normal human eye’s view? Get down low, Look up High. Get utterly TOO close, and possibly cast a wide gaze at the landscape around u.

--For any willing writers, a few journaling prompts for the week are:

Write for a while without editing around something you would like to create and invent, or aid others doing the same.

THEMES

The Love & Importance of the Simple charms of life, such as baking, daily chores, sharing gifts and walking through your neighborhood, spending time with your crew or tribe.

Value in the changing of the seasons, and celebrating new beginnings.

Mindfully becoming aware that we can always find “problems” and “challenges,” but if we cast our attention to HOW the world might Be, what would that look like.
