The State of New York's Children

On Tuesday, January 11, the Schuyler Center for Advocacy and Analysis held a public briefing on the the State of New York's Children. HMM correspondent Corinne Carey spoke with Kate Breslin, the Schuyler Center's President and CEO and Dede Hill, SCAANY's Director of Policy about the briefing, the challenges facing children and families in 2022, SCAANY's reaction to how New York Governor Kathy Hochul's State of the State speech dealt with these challenges, and what the group hopes the state will do to address them in the state budget this year.
